I love the Caramel Frappuccinos from Starbucks, but they get too expensive. I used to buy them every day and now it can be up to $7 a drink! Now when my craving hits me during the workday, armed with ice cubes and milk in tow for an instant cold beverage fix at home on break time or after lunch hour.
To make your own perfect caramel frappuccino you can use the recipe below.
- 2 tablespoons ground dark coffee
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons caramel ice cream topping
- 1 cup water
- 1 cub fat-free milk
- 2 cubs ice cubes
- Pour ground coffee into the filter of your favorite filter coffee maker, then add water. Let the coffee cool in the refrigerator until it's cold. Then we put the cold coffee, sugar, ice cubes and caramel topping in a blender and stir everything until smooth. Add milk to combine. Now just pour into the glasses and refine as desired with whipped cream and an additional caramel topping.
